Woolman Hill
Woolman Hill is a Quaker retreat center, open to all, on a beautiful New England ridge-top. We create opportunities for people to connect with that of God in themselves, in others, and in the natural world. Woolman Hill provides simple, comfortable facilities for individual retreats and group gatherings. We also offer programs which nurture spiritual growth and foster the values and practice of peace-making, simplicity, integrity, social responsibility, and stewardship of the earth.
Situated on 110 acres of meadows and woodlands, our center offers a peaceful atmosphere for retreats, meetings, and celebrations. Our facilities include an expanded 1830s farmhouse, a newly renovated historic Meeting House, a housekeeping cottage, three small cabins, and a spacious one-bedroom unit available for extended individual retreats.
We host rental groups of up to 40 people overnight, and up to 150 guests for weddings. We welcome a variety of groups, including non-profit, social service, educational, and faith-based gatherings, family reunions, and weddings.
We welcome individuals to come for a personal retreat, to participate in one of our weekend programs, or to attend midweek Quaker worship.
