Sirius Community
In 1978, former members of Findhorn Community in Scotland came to 90 acres of land in Shutesbury, Massachusetts. They were inspired to begin a spiritual community and call it Sirius, after the star, which is known esoterically as the source of love and wisdom for our planet.
At Sirius we acknowledge the positive impact that a unified group aligned with Spirit can have on the destiny of this planet. Sirius is one part of an expanding network of light working to increase the consciousness of the earth’s inhabitants. We strive to embody this vision of a new planetary consciousness that honors the interconnectedness and sacredness of all living things. We invite you to join with us in this ongoing journey.
Sirius serves guests through our guest department and conference center. Sirius rents spaces to groups and facilitators for conferences, retreats, seminars and workshops. We have two meeting spaces available, our Octagon Hall, which holds up to 100 people; and our Meeting room, which holds up to 20.
The Community Center contains the Octagon Hall, Dining Room, Kitchen, 17 guest spaces and the bathrooms. We have additional guest spaces upon request as well as 10 tent sites.
Overnight rentals includes organic vegetarian meals from the Sirius gardens when available and are taken with the Community.
